"how well do we know our own bodies? Habits form over time depending on how we stand, sit, where we work or what we do for recreation. When we understand the biomechanics and unique movement/habits of our own individual anatomy, we greatly reduce the risk of injury. We are also able find greater ease, build strength quicker and safely in our yoga practice. In this workshop we will explore how functional anatomy in any given yoga pose, tells us how to align our bodies. You will get to know your body and how it moves on and off the mat and how you can train it to move in better alignment. Expect some anatomy lecture, group interaction, power and restorative movement—and lots of self discovery and awareness! "
