Amy Davis & Shelley Dawson
Amy and Shelly are best friends and opposites that journey through life and yoga together embracing the lessons and at times fighting like mad against them. They are both Master Trainers for Yoga Assets, as well at 500 hr RYT's. They are also trained in other areas of fitness education. They teach yoga everywhere, but especially at Sports Academy in Logan, Utah.
As a Utah native and outdoor enthusiast, Anita enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities. She has been in the fitness industry for over 25 years, and is certified through ACE for group-fitness teaching and as a personal trainer. She has been teaching yoga in SLC for over 20 years and enjoys teaching, Tai Chi, Mindfulness, Ayurveda, Tantra, and Meditation. She believes that mindful movement is the key to living in tune with the rhythm of nature.
Brandi is a local Utahn with the mountains in her heart and soul. Brandi has practiced mindfulness, yoga, and meditation as a foundation of her self-healing journey for over 5 years. She has attained a four-year degree in Recreational Therapy, studied privately and officially the Foot Zone method of healing, and helped people around the world discover the emotions underlying their physical symptoms. She currently practices private and group sessions at Awaken Studios.
Brandonny has taught kids, teens, and adults for over a decade, but she has a passion for helping the little ones and has learned that one can’t start too early to see their self-worth. Young students also have a wonderful way of reminding her how to stay inquisitive, honest, and hopeful. In her classes, we will explore using all our senses. Sometimes we will be silly and energetic; sometimes we will be quiet and calm; but we will always honor what makes us unique.
As a student first and foremost, Britney is constantly eager to learn, grow and share with other students, She is a Scholè Level 3 Certified Teacher who has a passion for sharing the power of yoga with others. When she's not in the studio, Britney works for a health and wellness company that focuses on natural healing through essential oils. Her passion for music and movement brought her to Scholé, but the community and the relationships she's built are what keeps her coming back.
Cel Hemingway has been teaching yoga for 10 years, and finds her inspiration in the Ashtanga Yoga tradition. She has trained/practiced with influential yoga gurus, but always goes back to her dear teacher Tim Miller. Cel believes yoga can help us understand the world we live in, and improve our relationships with all around us and ourselves. "When we understand the game of life we can play consciously, and not just get played. We are co-creators of our reality."
Chase Campbell is a Traditional Foods Teacher and Cook. He teaches about how to prepare food with traditional cultural techniques. He takes the wisdom from our ancestors, what they knew about food, and how to get the most nutrients out of the food so he can teach it back to us. He will help us bring back the traditions of old in order to enlighten the world once again . These techniques will ultimately assist us in taking back our health allowing us to thrive.
Cindi began her Yoga love teaching journey 11 years ago. She is 500 hours certified in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, & Guided Imagery Meditation, 200 SUP yoga certified. Her Yoga journey has taken her many places, such as retreats In Hawaii, California, Colorado, and our beautiful Utah. She is the owner of Yoga Love Retreats, and was featured in Shape Magazine May 2013 and Yoga Journal March 2015. She believes that yoga is a way of life, the practice is the path back to yourself!
Daryl Wolke & Barbara Zago
Daryl Wolke earned her 200-hour RYT and 100-hour Dharana Method Meditation Training. She is a full time yoga and meditation instructor in Salt Lake City. Barbara Zago is the founder of Sound Healing with Barbara at Magic Valley Sound Sanctuary in Buhl.

Jason of Summer Body Now has been an adventure guide and wellness coach for 25 years. He has guided many fortune 500 CEOs on custom adventures across the globe. He has been featured in The New York Times, The L.A. Times, Spa Magazine, and many other national and international venues. Jason has traveled to Hawaii, Peru, and Africa. Mixing his years of personal training with the spiritual traditions and “knowing”, he takes a whole body approach to wellness and approaches it from a cellular level.
Jewel has been practicing and teaching yoga for 4 years. Jewel has a strong teaching and practicing background in "the rocket" - Rocket Ashtanga - as well as in power vinyasa and heated vinyasa flow. She is on her hands and upside down at all times, you can find her inverted precariously on a cliff ledge or in the classroom, teaching her yoga students to be strong, courageous, and hold themselves to a standard of grace.
Katie is known internationally as the DRUM CIRCLE GODDESS. Her primary message is tolerance, equality, divine remembrance and sums it all up with her mantra "One Circle, One Tribe." She teaches Shamanism, Drum Making, and Painting. She serves as an advocate and voice for women's empowerment and eradication of domestic violence. As co-founder of the company Soul Spark Seven, she works with 3 other women, hosting retreats that teach the power of awakening one's soul light.
If Katie isn’t on her mat, your likely to find her adventuring outdoors somewhere- she loves to ski, climb, hike, bike, camp- pretty much anything outside!
Liz has been practicing yoga for 20 years. She has completed hundreds of hours of trainings in many different styles and philosophies, learning and practicing with some of today’s leading yoga teachers from around the world. Now an RYT 500/E-RYT/YACEP with Yoga Alliance, her own style of teaching is the culmination of her experience. Her intention as a teacher is to hold the space for people of all levels to come and move their bodies as a way to feel better, to feel more open and expansive.
Maria has been practicing ashtanga yoga since 2008 and has dedicated much of her time to studying yoga, ayurveda, sanskrit and vedic philosophy. Maria currently teaches ashtanga yoga at Centered City Yoga. She has studied with Dave and Cheryl Oliver, Niall Mandal, Nicolai Bachman, Prem and Radha Carlisi. She is now in her second year at Kerala Academy for the Ayurveda Practitioner program.
Nicole is a certified Barre Instructor with the American Barre Technique and a certified Group Fitness Instructor through ACE (American Council on Exercise). She is also currently working on her Weight Management Specialist Certification thru ACE.
He has been practicing yoga for 17+ years, but it wasn’t until a car accident in 2013 that left him with spinal cord damage that Nic became more adamant with his yoga. Nic completed his 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certificate in Vinyasa Yoga and Thai Yoga Massage through Lago CPH, and Anamaya Mind and Body Resort. He brings a lot of personal experience into his classes by offering layers and modifications for varying fitness levels and for those who may have specific injuries or needs.
Rachel Jones is a Health and Wellness Expert. She has devoted the past 20 years to increasing her knowledge and expertise in this area and sharing with others. She is a devoted wife and mother, Licensed Massage Therapist, avid Yoga enthusiast, Reiki Master, Sound Therapist and Natural Health and Nutrition Educator.
Rebecca Holt and Gaby Luna
Gaby has been practicing yoga for 16 years. Gaby took her 200-yoga teacher training at the Santosh Yoga Institute in 2015 and completed her 500 yoga teacher training hours at Awaken Studios in 2017. Gaby is registered under Yoga Alliance as a 200-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-YRT). In addition to her yoga certifications, she also holds certifications of Antigravity Fitness, Plexus Yoga Wheel, Glide Fit, ACE Health Coach and TRX.
Sammy has been studying yoga and eastern philosophy since he was 12 years old. On his 2013 trip he received his level 2 authorization to teach Ashtanga. Sammy has completed a 300 hour Yoga Therapy course in northern California at the Ananda Seva Ashram and continues to study Ayurveda, alignment, anatomy and both eastern and western philosophy. Sammy is an E-RYT500 hour Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor with emphasis in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
She began teaching pole and aerial dance at Onyx Pole and Aerial Fitness in Sandy, Utah. During the summer of 2015, she obtained my 200-HR yoga teacher training through Yoga Assets. She encourages the individuals who walk into her classes to leave fear behind them so they can move forward with power and grace; so they too can reach a place of unconditional acceptance, wonder and love for what their bodies can do.
Shannan Hansen, 500E-RYT, invites you to come back to yourself—back to your own body and back to your personal intuition. Shannan studies of a wide range of yoga styles and has 15 years of yoga teaching experience. She teaches Power Vinyasa Flow and Restorative Yoga in Salt Lake City and also travels to teach in international yoga festivals, such as the Copenhagen Yoga Festival in Denmark.
Stephen Wisely has been a driving force in the Salt Lake Valley Yoga Community for the last 10 years. He is an ERYT 200 Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, RYS Lead Instructor and has been certified in many forms of meditation, including Chakra, Mantra, and Yoga Nidra.
Heather Wisely is a Licensed Acupuncturists, ERYT 500 Yoga Instructor, Massage Therapists, Reiki Master and Chinese Herbalist. She has over 15 years of experience in the industry.
