Daryl Wolke left the corporate world three years ago on a journey to find her passion and in the process found herself. After 30+ years in public relations and fundraising, Daryl left it all behind and followed her dream to earn her 200-hour RYT and 100-hour Dharana Method Meditation Training. She is now, a full time yoga and meditation instructor in Salt Lake City. Her natural curiosity and love for learning has led her to study deeper and has recently completed study in restorative yoga and sound therapy. Daryl will begin her 300-hr advanced teacher training to become a 500-hour RYT in July with Denise Druce of Yoga Assets. Daryl and her husband George moved to Utah a year ago and live in Millcreek, Utah with their two Puggles, Boogie and Minnie. Barbara Zago is the founder of Sound Healing with Barbara at Magic Valley Sound Sanctuary in Buhl, Idaho where she offers individual and group sound healing. She plays the monochord, crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, the crystal harp, drums, chimes, and gongs along with using her voice in her sound bath meditations and private healing sessions. Working with meridians, chakras, and the biofield she also uses tuning forks on and off the body.
Sound Bath Healing creates soundscapes with the crystal harp, the monochord, Himalayan and crystal singing bowls, the wind gong, Koshi chimes, drums, and the rain stick. The vibrational healing qualities of these sacred instruments resonate deeply within the body’s energy system to help release stress and tension in the body. This enables the body to make the shifts necessary for healing to take place on all levels. Sacred sound has a deeply calming effect on our consciousness. Immersed in a wonderous audio symphony the thinking mind has no way of categorizing, leaving the mind in a state of pure awarness. This is the heart of pure meditation! You may want to bring a yoga mat, blanket and a pillow to make yourself comfortable while you lie down for an hour and experience the soothing sounds of this sound bath.
